Morgan Printing, Inc. is a privately held corporation, located at 402 Hill Avenue, in Grafton, N.D. Rilie R. Morgan purchased the company in November of 1923. At that time it was known as the Walsh County Record and published a weekly newspaper. Rilie started the sister company, Record Printers, and produced printed materials and sold office supplies.
In 1969, three of Rilie’s children, John “Jack”, Mary and Jeanette, purchased the company from him. They continued to expand the business and renamed the printing operation Associated Printers, and opened a sales office in Grand Forks, N.D. When Mary and Jeanette sold their portion of the business to Jack in 1979, he renamed the company Morgan Printing, Inc. In 1985 the time came to sell the business. Two of his children, John Morgan and Jackie Lynne Thompson, purchased the interests to the corporation.
Today John and Jackie continue their commitment to growth and expansion. They also understand the need for healthy, productive companies in today’s economy. The business provides an arena for employees to utilize their skills and knowledge. The local economy is supported through the generation of outside sales, and by maintaining a workforce nourishing the local economy.
Morgan Printing furnishes quality products at reasonable prices. They continue to work in two segments of the printing and publishing industry: commercial printing and newspaper publishing.
A larger, reorganized sales staff focuses on a consumer base on local and national levels.
